Beginning in January 2024, the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law will celebrate its centennial anniversary. We hope that you will join us throughout 2024 for events and programming related to the centennial anniversary, which will include an increased number of regional alumni gatherings, esteemed speakers, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals oral arguments on campus, a kick-off party, and much more.
The year-long celebration will bring together alumni from across the nation as we move into our next hundred years together while honoring the events of the last hundred years that created the foundation for who we have become.
Students contribute to legislation aimed at repairing failing sewer systems
University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law alumni Jaime Bowker '23, Erika Cabrera '23, and Emma Syftestad '23 had a unique experience through the Legislative and Public Policy Clinic, seeing the bill they helped draft become law when signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom in September 2024.

McGeorge School of Law students collectively dedicated an impressive 63,993 hours of public service to the community during the 2022-2023 academic year. Eglets give historic $25 million gift to Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law
The gift is among the top 15 given to a U.S. law school, the third largest to a California law school and the second largest in the 170-year history of California’s first university.
