Student Health Services (SHS)

We offer healthcare services at all three campuses that respect students’ personal, cultural and social identities. Our health professionals are available for, but are not limited to:

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)

CAPS provides a broad range of therapeutic services including group therapy, individual and couple sessions, informal consultations and online assisted therapy for students experiencing emotional distress, anxiety, depression, adjustment concerns and on-call 24/7 therapeutic services are available.  By offering both in-person and telehealth appointments with our 24/7 call services, our counselors are available to students at any time of day.

Eligibility and Costs

All undergraduate and graduate students studying at University of the Pacific are required to pay a wellness fee each term. This fee is the primary funding for programs offered by Health and Wellness.

  • Wellness Fee for students enrolled in 9 or more units: $200

  • Wellness Fee for students enrolled in less than 9 units: $100
