Swim Camp

Experience Pacific's outdoor 50m Olympic-size pool

The Pacific Swim Camp is directed by Head Coach Katelyne Herrington and assisted by the men's and women's swim team. It is located at the Chris Kjeldsen Pool, a beautiful outdoor 50m Olympic-size pool located on University of the Pacific's Stockton Campus. This camp is designed to help competitive swimmers improve their stroke technique.

The Pacific Swim Camp recommends that all participants have competitive swimming experience (E.G. U.S.S. Age Group, National Qualifiers, High School Swimmers or Summer League Swimmers) with all four competitive strokes: fly, back, breast and freestyle. Participants should also have experience diving into the water and have experience with starts and turns. Additionally, participants need to be able to complete a continuous 200 yard swim.

Curriculum

Campers will receive concentrated instruction on all four strokes, working on technique, drills and stroke enhancements along with starts and turns. Campers will be placed in one of three training groups with other swimmers who have similar skills and conditioning levels.
