Referrals

Health and Wellness will assess if you need off-campus care and refer you accordingly, working with your insurance when possible. If you have Kaiser or another HMO, you'll need a referral from your primary care provider for specialist care to be covered.

Telephone Nurse Advice

Telephone advice is available for all current students when Health and Wellness is closed or a provider is unavailable. Call 209.946.2315 option 4 for confidential health advice, and be prepared to provide your name and Pacific ID number. A follow-up call from Health and Wellness may occur.

Women's Care

Routine gynecologic exams, including Pap tests, STI screenings and contraceptive counseling, are available by appointment. Female students with Student Health Insurance or a PPO can receive one annual Pap test as a covered benefit. Please inquire about fees when scheduling an appointment.

Medications

Health and Wellness offers common primary care medications like antibiotics and oral contraceptives for a small fee. Students can also opt to obtain a written prescription to fill at a local pharmacy. Schedule II and psychotropic drugs require referral to an off-campus facility.
