Introducing your new Pacific Alumni Association President and Board Members

Joshua Foster

Joshua Foster '08 COP

It is our pleasure to introduce you to your new president of the Pacific Alumni Association, Joshua Foster ’08. Foster follows in the footsteps of Allan Hardcastle ’77, ’79, who served as president for the past year and will continue in the role of past president for the coming year.

Joshua Foster earned a degree in economics from College of the Pacific in 2008, followed by a master’s degree in economics from the University of Kansas. He has served in many volunteer roles as an alumnus, including as a member of the Pacific Pi Kappa Alpha Chapter alumni advisory board, speaking to Pacific's Economics capstone classes, and in various capacities on the Pacific Alumni Association board of directors, most recently as president-elect and alumni liaison to the university Board of Regents.

Four years of leadership roles as a Pacific student, including Associated Student Body President and President of Pi Kappa Alpha, along with his academic background in Economics, convinced him that he would be a great fit for a career in financial modeling and consulting. Josh moved to the East Coast in 2010 to work at the Federal Housing Finance Agency conducting housing finance research. In 2012, he joined PwC, a global network of firms committed to delivering quality in assurance, advisory and tax services, and is currently a Director of Modeling and Analytics within their Risk & Regulatory consulting practice based in New York City. During his time in New York, Josh met his future wife, Valentina Park, when they both moved into the same apartment building in Lower Manhattan. They now reside in Brooklyn, NY with their dog Joey and plan to be married in May of 2025.

We are also thrilled to introduce the newest member of the Pacific Alumni Association Board of Directors:

  • Raquel Ravaglioli ’13, ’14 MUS
  • Hannah White Dobbs ’19 COP
