Spill the LGBTea: Being LGBTQ+ in the Latinx Community
Spill the LGBTea: Being LGBTQ+ in the Latinx Community
04:00 p.m. - 05:00 p.m.
Spill the LGBTea occurs once a month & is a safe space for LGBTQ+ students of all intersecting identities to come together in community and support one another through discussion. Each month we will explore different topics including sexual health, societal stigmas, self-care, self-love and more!
This month we explore what it means to be LGBTQ+ in the Latinx community in honor of Latinx Heritage Month. From culture norms, machismo, gender roles, language to how to overcome the barriers that come with being queer and Latinx. Join us for an honest, open and raw discussion and make new connections with other Latinx Queer folk who may attend.
