CIP BLOCK Conference
08:00 a.m. - 03:00 p.m.
We cordially invite you to mark your calendars for the 8th Annual BLOCK Conference, a highly anticipated event for students from the Stockton community. Hosted by the Community Involvement Program (CIP) in partnership with various campus entities, the BLOCK (Building Leaders Overcoming Challenges with Knowledge) Conference will take place at University of the Pacific on Friday, October 4, 2024.
Collaborating with alumni, Stockton Unified School District, and community-based organizations, the BLOCK Conference features specially designed workshops tailored to the needs of local underrepresented youth, fostering academic and personal excellence. Our mission is to connect, inspire, and support young individuals in their educational journey, promoting responsibility, self-advocacy, improved communication, and self-efficacy. Ultimately, our goal is to open doors to higher education, making college a tangible and achievable aspiration for every participant.
The conference will feature a remarkable lineup of empowering guest/keynote speakers, along with engaging workshops focused on foundation building, leadership development, and equipping attendees with the tools for success.
