APID Anime Movie Night: "Spirited Away"
Join APID Student Services for our monthly Anime Movie Night at the Center for Identity & Inclusion! Each month, we will showcase a new animated film or TV show and discuss the impacts of these media on APID art, culture, and lived experiences. For November, we will be watching the Studio Ghibli classic, “Spirited Away” (2001), which follows the tail of 10-year-old Chihiro as she stumbles upon a magical world filled with gods, witches, and other fantastical creatures. This coming-of-age story showcases her journey to build courage, break her family’s newfound curse, and return home to the human world. For questions about this event, please contact Missy Magdalera, APID Program Specialist, at mmagdalera@pacific.edu.
