Thomas Brierton
Thomas Brierton is an Associate Professor of Business Law in the Eberhardt School of Business at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. He specializes in Employment Law and Entertainment Law.
Thomas has been involved in both the academic and legal environments for the past twenty-five years. He has taught a variety of courses on the graduate level, executive programs for the Westgate Center for Management Development in the Eberhardt School of Business, the Graziadio Graduate School of Management at Pepperdine University, the Atkinson Graduate School of Management at Willamette University, and the College of Business at Northern Illinois University. In addition, he teaches Entertainment Law at McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California.
Thomas, as an attorney, has litigated a wide variety of cases in private practice and served as a consultant to many organization throughout the western half of the United States. He has testified as an expert before the California Legislature on employment bills. He has written and published journal articles in the employment and entertainment law areas and consistently presents papers at national and regional meeting of the Academy of Legal Studies in Business, the Rocky Mountain Academy of Legal Studies in Business, and the Music and Entertainment Industries Educators Association.
