Professor Ray Tamaddon focuses his practice in insurance coverage disputes and litigation, coverage advice and bad faith litigation involving a wide array of first party and third-party issues. Professor Tamaddon has served as lead counsel in large-exposure complex insurance coverage cases in California, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, and Hawaii. Professor Tamaddon has also served as appellant counsel in a number of reported decisions. Professor Tamaddon conducts periodic training of insurance clients' claims staff on various legal issues and provides presentations regarding latest trends and developments in insurance law and industry.
Biography
Professor Tamaddon grew up in the New England area where he attended college and law school. After law school, he began his law practice in Southern California. Throughout his career, Professor Tamaddon harbored a burning desire to share his knowledge of his practice with law students and to partake in their training as lawyers. He saw that opportunity in McGeorge School of Law's robust Global Lawyering Skills (GLS) program where he currently teaches. Professor Tamaddon is fluent in Farsi.
