Parvati Iyer
Dr. Parvati Iyer is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Sciences and Course Director for Integrated Clinical Sciences II at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. A graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, she completed a residency in Hospital Dentistry at UCSF before practicing cosmetic dentistry in Scottsdale, AZ. Since joining Pacific in 2013, she has become passionate about promoting critical thinking, incorporating technology in teaching, and increasing student engagement. Dr. Iyer has published extensively on educational research and received the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Charles Craig Award for Teaching Innovation in 2020. Dr. Iyer is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society, Sigma Xi honor society, a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, Pierre Fauchard Academy, ADA, CDA, and San Francisco Dental Society.
