Katie Nystrom

Katie Nystrom is a member of the adjunct faculty at McGeorge School of Law. She teaches Practical Analysis, Strategies, and Skills (PASS) I and Bar Exam Attack Track (BEAT), after having graded for the course and the Bar Extra Feedback program for several years. Nystrom is currently employed as Senior Staff Counsel with the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle), where she practices environmental administrative litigation focusing on California's used and waste tire laws and regulations. Nystrom also handles legal personnel matters for the department. Prior to joining CalRecycle in 2015, Nystrom was in private practice litigating employment law issues. Nystrom graduated from McGeorge with a JD degree in 2011 and served as Chief Symposium Editor on the McGeorge Law Review Editorial Board. Nystrom received her BA degree in Communication from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
