Jessica Garner

Dr. Garner graduated from the San Joaquin Valley College PA program and received a Master of Medical Science degree from Saint Francis University in 2012. She earned a Doctor of Medical Science from the University of Lynchburg in 2020. Her clinical background is in family medicine and oncology. She continues to work part-time in integrative oncology. Prior to becoming a PA, she was a special education teacher. With a continued passion for teaching, she started in PA education at her alma mater in 2014 and joined Pacific in 2015 as a founding faculty member.

Dr. Garner received the School of Health Science’s Excellence in Teaching Award in 2023, recognizing her commitment to compassionate and student-centered instruction. Dr. Garner has numerous clinical research publications. She has co-authored several peer-reviewed articles on cancer epigenetics and translational medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Garner enjoys spending time with her family. She loves to travel and create traditions and memories with her family of six.
