Destiny uses an integrative, strength-based approach and has a nonjudgmental style that is tailor-made to support her clients’ needs in the here and now. Brainspotting is a powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing, and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation, and a variety of other challenging symptoms. In addition to brainspotting, she uses techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She enjoys providing short- and longer-term individual, couple, and group psychotherapy.
