Stories of Survival: Comfort Women of East & Southeast Asia
In honor of Women's History Month, we will explore the stories of women who were horribly impacted by the legacies of war, imperialism, and gender-based violence during World War II. Specifically, we will shed light on Korean and Filipina "Comfort Women" and their struggle to bring light to the atrocities committed against them by the Japanese Imperial Army during and after the war. Viewer discretion is advised. For questions or special accommodations, please contact our Program Specialist, Missy Magdalera, at mmagdalera@pacific.edu.
