Join us for a special event for prospective RDAEF applicants and their dentist at University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. During this informative program, you will meet our program faculty members and students, tour our state-of-the-art campus, and learn more about our curriculum and funding options.
Who Should Attend
This event is open to doctors, registered dental assistants and RDAEFs (registered dental assistant in extended functions) who wish to learn more about the Dugoni School of Dentistry's RDAEF program.
Presenters
Brian Kenyon, DMD, completed his undergraduate studies at Brown University and graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1982. He was in private practice in Smithfield, Rhode Island for 17 years prior to accepting a full-time faculty position at University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 1999. Dr. Kenyon is a tenured associate professor in the Department of Clinical Oral Health Care. He is a group practice leader in the Dugoni Shool’s student clinic. Dr. Kenyon has received nine excellence in teaching awards, the American College of Dentists Distinguished Northern California Faculty Member Award and has been elected to the Tau Kappa Omega and Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor societies. He maintains a private practice in San Francisco, CA.
Leana Miller, RDAEF, has a bachelor's degree in education and has 23 years of orthodontic and general/cosmetic dentistry experience. In 2011, Leana decided to further her dental career by attending the RDAEF program at University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. After graduating at the top of her class, Leana was asked to join faculty as an assistant clinical lab instructor for the RDAEF program in 2017. She has been a mentor for the students and has provided exceptional guidance both as an instructor and as an RDAEF. Leana joined Monterey Peninsula College as an adjunct dental instructor for the dental assisting program and serves as an advisory board member at Monterey Peninsula College.
Maggie Rodriguez, RDAEF, has been in the dental field for more than 11 years. She graduated from Monterey Peninsula College Dental Assisting program in 2011 and received her RDAEF license in 2017 after completing the RDAEF Program at University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. Maggie serves on the board for the Monterey Peninsula College Dental Assisting Program and is a member of the Dugoni School of Dentistry’s CDE Advisory Committee. She currently is co-director for the RDAEF program at Dugoni School of Dentistry and works full time in Monterey for a private prosthodontic practice.
