Each month, we will showcase a new animated film or TV show and discuss the impacts of these media on APID art, culture, and lived experiences.For October, we will be watching a marathon of "Trese" (2021) which is Netflix’s first Filipino comic-book fantasy adaptation series. The show features main character Alexandra Trese – who works in the criminal and magical underworld of Manila. This show highlights different stories from Filipino folklore and invites viewers to celebrate Philippine culture and traditions.
